Upskilling During Pandemic - Kellee Marlow & Nicolle Merrill and Lee Pierce

SUMMARY

With the drastic shifts in today's economic landscape due to the pandemic, many people are asking themselves whether they should be reconsidering their current line of work or focusing on how best to be more prepared for the future of work. You may not have had time before, to consider upgrading your skills and now may be the perfect time. Kellee talks with two leading advisers about how best to upskill or perhaps it is a reskill, depending on your situation. Basically, acquiring a new skill that will make a difference for the future of your work.

GUEST NOTES

Nicolle Merrill is an upskill adviser and author of the career book, Punch Doubt in the Face: How to Up-skill, Change Careers, and Beat the Robots.  She was the former Associate Director of the Career Development office at Yale School of Management, where she coached hundreds of MBA students and professionals through all phases of their career transitions.

She integrates her best teaching practices into suggesting what an excellent upskill program should offer you.
