Dr Guy Leschziner is a leading neurologist and authority on the science of sleep. He is a consulting neurologist at the London Bridge Hospital, the Cromwell Hospital and within the Department of Neurology and Sleep Disorders Centre at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. He is clinical lead for the Sleep Disorders Centre, Guy's Hospital, one of Europe's largest sleep units, and Professor of Neurology at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King's College London. He has published over sixty peer-reviewed scientific publications and the neurology section editor for Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine (Elsevier). In addition, he is the editor of the forthcoming Oxford Handbook of Sleep Medicine (Oxford University Press). Dr Leschziner is the author of The Nocturnal Brain: Nightmares, Neuroscience and the Secret World of Sleep. He is a presenter of Mysteries of Sleep and The Compass: The Senses on BBC Radio 4 and World Service and Secrets of Sleep for Channel 4.
