Social Impact: Prison to Entrepreneurship- Kellee Marlow & Andrew Glazier

SUMMARY

If you believe in second chances, then you believe that there should be opportunities once you served your time in prison. 1 out of 20 US Citizens will serve in prison in his or her lifetime. It is estimated that close to six million children in America have experienced the loss of a parent due to prison or jail time. The national recidivism rate (or return to prison) for released prisoners is 44 percent within the first year. What can we do to break this cycle?
